I started in Midjourney because I prefer the colours, textures, posture for characters, composition and overall quality. For this example, I used words like "woman standing, volumetric, impasto, palette knife, tick paint". Midjourney doesn't allow nudity so I use the output of MJ inside "Img2Img" of Stable diffusion, where I can convert the result of Mj using their models and combine everything in Photoshop. I can also ask for different genders, and ethnicities... The possibilities are almost endless! I've been testing AI image generators for the last four months and the progress has been unbelievable since July. I can't imagine what it'll be like in a year.
Midjourney has a free subscription. Stable Diffusion is free but a bit more complicated, and you'll need a decent graphic card. I recommend AITrepreneur Youtube Channel, where I was able to follow step-by-step and install everything. See his 10 minutes video "SUPER Stable diffusion 2.0 Installation" All his videos are interesting for learning about stable diffusion
